It was a great time having Fikri in the team. He is very persistent to deliver sensible and thorough design deliveries and would ask questions without any hesitancy. He consistently improves his way of working and will try his best to adapt with various team dynamics. He also handles hiccups and team challenges pretty gracefully by focusing on moving things forward. I think he has set a good example to his fellow colleagues within and outside our Design team.

I’ve worked with Fikri several years ago, and recently got a chance to collaborate with him for a few months. He blew me away by showing how much he’s been maturing as a designer. I look forward to having our path cross again in the future.
He’s been delivering UIs for marketing-related missions and translating high-level concept to a delightful and easy-to-use feature; and has bring sizable impact to the business. Stakeholders and designers have been enjoying Fikri’s leadership in managing design projects, as well as contributing to the quarterly planning as the design team’s representative. Further, Fikri has been showing a leadership trait by initiating design rituals and managing relationship with other function.
Perhaps his development can be attributed to his consistency and grit. I’m amused by how Fikri can commit to things that he wants to improve and pursue for months or years–a trait that I wish I, and others, develop.

Fikri is one of my favorite designers in traveloka. He is my great thinking partner not only helping me build the product roadmap and strategy, he is also taking care of the team and ensuring everything is going well.
The things that I really appreciate from him are his critical thinking and creativity. He can turn complex problems into actionable action and solutions.
Many products have been created together with him, increasing user experience, creating the impact, building Traveloka becoming Ttraveloka that you see today, it has been a pleasure working with Fikri.

If someone asks me to refer a designer who is a great collaborator, full of out-of-the-box ideas, and able to translate the ideas to super neat and detailed visual design, I would say Fikri.
It was a great experience working with him, especially for many high-complexity projects. He's fast and detailed. He grasps the context fast, sees the situation, and comes up with everything mapped out. Next thing you know, he already gave you the design solution plans.
On top of that, he's good at collaborating with almost anyone. He knows that to design a seamless experience, we need to work together as one team, and hence he involves the related roles to work together in designing a project from the very beginning.
Fikri is calm; he never overreacts to problems that arise. He always focuses on the solutions instead of pointing fingers at anyone. And I think this characteristic sets him apart from others.

Why Fikri is a great addition to your team: driven. Fikri not only do what’s being asked, he takes initiative to improve the overall workflow. Example: he’s the one who constantly drives Visual Designers guild, managing master files, and improving team organization. All done without compromising his main job.
What sort of things will help you to support him: Fikri is mission driven. When there’s a new initiative, makes sure you communicate how that project brings value, not only to company but also for users.

Has a growth mindset. He consistently ask for feedback for himself and work his way to have better skills as designer and also project manager. Proactive and driven. Not only takes initiatives, he create the initiatives. He is also not afraid to throw a new perspective to the team. Very detail at work and a good collaborator. I could say that he is diligent. He always try to give a best performance on his works, deliver good quality design output that answer both users and business problems. He also has a good facilitation skill, know how to involve others to work together, deliver the best quality design.
